Something will be hopping into La Plaza Mall on Friday and will bring plenty of joy to children of all ages.
The Easter Bunny will make its arrival to the mall at 5 p.m. via a Bert Ogden BMW convertible as he makes his home in McAllen for the spring holiday, the mall said in a news release.
The event will begin with an Easter Egg Hunt for children under 10 followed by hopping inside the mall for Starbucks’ refreshers and photos with the bunny.
The Bunny Photo experience will be open Sunday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday during the month of March. Photos will also be available in April from Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

A private event will be held for special needs children and their families from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 19.
And if you are a pet lover and want to get a picture of your fur baby with the bunny, pet photos will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26. Pets must be on a leash or carrier. They should enter the mall through the H&M entrance.
