A 28-year-old Harlingen man accused of a shooting was arrested Wednesday and charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a police news release said Friday.
Harlingen police say Anthony Lee Rodriguez fled the scene Monday after his involvement in shootings two people, grazing a third and assaulting a fourth person.
Rodriguez was located at a Weslaco residence Wednesday afternoon by U.S. Marshals, according to the release. In addition to the U.S. Marshals Task Force, the Weslaco Police Department and deputies with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office.
Rodriguez was transported to the Harlingen City Jail and charged with four counts of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and is being held on a total bond of $180,000, according to the press release.
