Donna police identified the man who allegedly tried to abduct a woman at a gas station Sunday night as a search for him continues.
Authorities are searching for Roy Anthony Yanez, 38, and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
The attempted kidnapping happened at a Circle K convenience store located in the 900 block of W. Frontage Road, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
Donna Crime Stoppers shared surveillance footage on their Facebook page showing the woman and man walking back to their vehicles, which were parked at separate pumps, before he assaulted her.
The woman managed to fight the would-be abductor before he seemingly gave up and walked back to his black sports utility vehicle and drove off.
Police say tipsters with information leading to Yanez could be eligible to receive a reward of up to $1,000.
