Letters: Response to letter

Several letters to the editor are begging to be called out.

One letter states that U.S. Navy Seals should wipe out Mexican cartels. This idea is naïve. Besides the illegality of attacking anyone in another country with our military, it doesn’t make any sense.

Let’s say the Seals would attack the cartels; who would point them all out to them? Would they be attacked in their homes with their families? How far up or down the hierarchy would people be wiped out? Would the businesses that launder money on both sides of the border be wiped out too? How would they prevent other individuals from forming new cartels if the demand for drugs from the U.S. didn’t stop? With the millions of dollars involved, if there is a demand, there will be a supply.

Another letter talks about how Democrats are afraid of Donald Trump getting reelected and that’s why he is being targeted by law enforcement. Well, I would think so. Trump is the most corrupt president in U.S. history.

We should be leery of a president who tried to overthrow our democratic government.

Lately, he stated that he would pardon those who attacked the Capitol if he became president. He’s disloyal to the country. He now wants to defund the FBI and the Justice Department for doing their job. He’s dishonest, he stole classified documents and refused to return them. He’s a narcissist, he’s cruel, he’s deranged, he doesn’t believe in the rule of law, he’s a cult leader, he’s ignorant about foreign affairs, he’s corrupted, he’s authoritarian and wants to be a dictator who is above the law just like his heroes Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un.

We would have to be out of our minds to want this criminal as our president.

Another letter ranting about socialism without any supporting evidence complains about American citizen Trump being arrested on April 4, three days before Good Friday, as if Trump really cared about Good Friday or any other religious observation. Does she think Trump is above the law?

Trump is a narcissist who cares about nothing but himself. I guess she is unaware the Mr. Trump has a long history of dubious behavior long before he was president. Trump and his businesses were involved in more than 4,000 legal cases and more than 100 business tax disputes. He has been sued hundreds of times by people he has wrong all his life. He has been accused of sexual misbehavior including rape by at least 25 women. He says 25 women lied and only he told the truth.

Bringing up religious sentiments when discussing Donald Trump just goes to show how good he is at conning people to believe he is the victim.

Don’t cooperate

with Democrats

Democrats should not be rewarded with cooperation from Republicans on the debt limit.

They’ve been shoveling billions to incentivize open Texas borders to non-government organizations and their rich donors to vote-bribe unlawful crossers.

Democrats have concentrated on decimating working, tax-paying Americans, and they need to account for their intense hate for American working taxpayers by perpetuating oppressive, destructive mandates and increasing taxation.

We should never reward bad behavior.
