Are people ignorant? The USA is run through American blood, sweat and tears. We would get taxed for breathing the air if our government could. Each and every one of us who receives any type of lawful wages must pay taxes. Taxes on food, clothing, gas, electricity, cars, water, dwelling, etc. — nothing goes untaxed!
Mr. Hank Shiver points out that the U.S. military and national defense are socialist. Veterans earned those benefits that were promised to them.
Concerning Medicare and Social Security, we all pay into them until we die. The sad part is that many contribute to it and never get to collect because of early deaths before retirement.
Our government does not generate money except through our taxes. I believe in taxation, but when mismanaged its intent is never reached. Our government has had free range to do whatever they want to with our taxes. Our infrastructures are collapsing, poverty nationwide is at its highest and our government is misusing our funds.
As a tax-paying nation, we should demand a restructuring of how our taxes are spent. Less government luxury and more redirecting those funds to the people. Concentrate on poverty, but don’t make it a handout but a lifesaver rope. Programs can be set to assist them. We all benefit from our educators, public safety and military, but we don’t compensate them for their highly stressful duties. Let us appreciate them and let them know they are important in our lives. Let’s not reward the able who sit at home with no motivation to help themselves. We have become our worst enemies who have created that generation that will only seek handouts and if offered a job will refuse.
Our government exaggeratingly mismanages our taxes and uses them to bail out other countries instead of their own citizens. Will it ever end? Not if we don’t get involved. We have said it before: apply term limits to the existing lifers in government and get fresh blood with better ideas and support for our nation. One man’s opinion if not censored.

Enough is enough! Back in the ’50s when I started my education, 95% of my elementary teachers were WASPS. In middle school, about 60% and high school about half! I was required to speak English, behave in class and respect my elders, especially my teachers!
Never did I feel or recall seeing any discrimination coming from my teachers! The rare instances of discrimination I experienced came from a handful of Anglo students my age!
I am sick and tired of being thrown into the never-ending pool of victims (Blacks and browns) portrayed by the truly racist, liberal “gold diggers!” catch words like “access” and “opportunity” used by the liberal left truly mean “free!” Free this, free that, reparations, lowering college entrance requirements and lately, guaranteed monthly incomes!
We as a society and government have become an expensive group of enablers!
It took a lot of hard work to finish school, serve my country and finish college. Agitators in the media get their wealth on the backs of demonizing white Americans and America!
Rampant crime, stealing for a living and being released after a slap on the hand is not going to fix things!
Bottom line, laziness is the problem with this country! No one wants to admit this, but you reap what you sow!
