A Harlingen woman is accused of attacking another woman with a metal pipe.
Police say on Sunday at noon they were called to the 700 block of West Filmore where they found a woman who’d been injured.
She told investigators she was lured into a vacant building by Teresa Aguilera Flores, 44, who attacked her with the metal pipe. The victim said she managed to escape and ran for help. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say they found Flores on the 500 block of West Harrison and as she was being arrested she kicked the officer on his left knee.
Flores is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a public servant. Her bond is set at $50,000.
