HARLINGEN — Police are currently investigating an early morning accident which landed a bicyclist in the hospital.
Just before 6 a.m. officers responded to an accident on the 1200 block of West Harrison Avenue where a truck struck a bicyclist.
Police found the cyclist on the road and he was immediately transported to a local hospital.
Officers say the man was crossing the street, when he was struck by a White Ford F-150 pickup traveling westbound on Harrison in the center lane.
