Authorities report the arrests come after police conducted an operation targeting prostitution in the downtown area.
Arrested on charges of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution are Christina Slayton, San Juana Calderon, Guadalupe Mendiola, Griselda Aide Sanchez and Juan Manuel Blanco.
The group was arrested on Thursday by the departments special investigations unit.
