More taxes

Thank you Harlingen City Commissioner Michael Mezmar for opposing a $3.8 million park.

Who thought of this costly idea?

My question to the other four commissioners is “so who is paying for this?” The taxpayers?

Why do we keep electing people without an ounce of common sense?

So these guys are adding additional tax burden to people on fixed incomes, those who work in minimum wage jobs, people looking for jobs, retirees, young families who live paycheck to paycheck.

Why don’t you guys try finding ways to lower our taxes?

People are drowning in taxes. People need to attend city commissioner meetings. Voice your concerns, ask questions. These meetings are held twice a month, otherwise these guys will keep on thinking of ways to raise and waste our taxes.
