RGV FC Toros play LA Galaxy II to 1-1 draw on road

After giving up a season-high four goals on Saturday, the RGV FC Toros kept a clean sheet into the 77th minute before yielding against LA Galaxy II in a 1-1 draw Wednesday in Carson, California.

The Toros move to 3-9-12 on the season, leading the USL in draws. The Galaxy is 7-12-6.

Jesus Enriquez put RGV FC on the board in the 51st minute. He received a long pass from Todd Wharton at the top of the penalty box, dribbled in and fired a low shot off the right post and into the net. Enriquez tied for the team lead with his fourth goal of the season.

Justin Dhillon netted the equalizer for LA Galaxy II in the 77th minute. He claimed a pass at the top of the penalty box, turned toward goal and pushed a left-footed shot into the right side of the net.

The Toros were playing just four days after suffering a 4-2 loss to OKC Energy FC on Saturday in Edinburg.

RGV FC returns to action with a matchup at Orange County SC at 9 p.m. Saturday.
