Last week my parents, Jesus and Lily Abete, received their first COVID-19 vaccine offered by BTXCARES.COM at the old Amigoland site. They wanted me to publicly thank everyone involved in this endeavor.
The weather was cold and rainy, yet every person we encountered had a warm and helpful disposition. Their operation was a well-oiled machine from beginning to end. Everyone knew their job and executed it with precision.
On our behalf, we thank all those involved for their unselfishness, volunteerism, professionalism, dedication, courtesy and hard work. They are, as my parents said, “angels on earth.”
