Tired of dealing with certain elements of society

I don’t know about you, but my attitude sucks! I’m just plain tired of what I see and hear every day, and I need to rant a little bit about it.

I’m getting old and I’ve worked hard all my life. I have made my reputation, the good and the bad. I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I have worked hard to get where I am in life. I have juggled my job and family, and made many sacrifices up front to secure a life for my family. I spent 21 years in our Armed Forces, where the pay wasn’t hardly enough to keep our family going, and when I could I worked two jobs in order to keep our heads above water. I was separated from my family, sent to foreign lands that in reality hate the United States, but did it because I love my country, and want to see it prosper and endure. It wasn’t always easy and still isn’t, but I did it all while maintaining my integrity and my principles.

I made mistakes and tried to learn from them. I have friends of every walk of life and if you’re in

my circle, it should be understood that I don’t have to remind you of what I’d be willing to do for you.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. People who have sacrificed nothing and feel entitled to receive everything. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it themselves.

I’m really tired of being told I must lower my standard of living in order to fight global warming, which, in my opinion as well as many others, is a huge fake that no one is allowed to debate. I’m really tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talk like their opinions matter to the common man. I’m tired of any of them even pretending they can relate to the life and bank account that I have. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I’m upset that I’m labeled as a racist because I am proud of my heritage. I never stole anyone’s land. The government did that, and I don’t have a racist bone in my body!

I’m tired of being told I need to accept the latest fad or politically correct stupidity, or befriend a group that’s intent on killing me, because I won’t convert to their point of view.

I’m really tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions, especially the ones that want me to fund it. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m really tired. But, I’m also glad to be in the twilight of my life. Because mostly, I’m not going to have to see the retched, depressing world these young, useless idiots are creating. No one is entitled to anything. You have a choice to work, a choice to stay off drugs, a choice to make something of yourself. I have nothing to do with your choice. That’s all on you. You are only entitled to what you earn.

I’m very tired of the double standard that has been created by one political party. I firmly believe that there are those in our government who have intentionally and arbitrarily created a system of justice that serves them, and a second form of justice that is openly used to harass, indict and thus control others. They have weaponized the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Revenue Service to a point where grave accusations and indictments of a personal nature are issued against some, where members of their political faith are excused and not indicted for the very same issues. This double standard is the start of Nazism, where the elite are sheltered, and others harassed, fined and even jailed! Book burning and weapon confiscation are next.

And finally, I’m tired of un-elected individuals shaping government actions, especially with regard to edicts enforced without legislative approval. It is the puppet masters behind the scenes who pull the strings that enslave us as sure as night turns to day!

Lastly, even though I have shouted from the rooftops, no one listened or seemed to care.

You reap what you sow, America, and so do your children. We are on a slippery slope toward government control much like those in Cuba, Venezuela, Russia and even China, and unless we right the great ship America and return it to its rightful course, a government of, for and by the people, the country that I love will disintegrate into just another Third World country that functions as a dictatorship. We are much nearer than you may think!
