Letters: Trump defended

Poor Ned Sheats; he hates Donald Trump for the deaths caused due to his slow response to the COVID pandemic. I guess poor ol’ Ned conveniently forgot Operation Warp Speed that got Moderna, Phizer and Lily producing the COVID variant drugs in record time, by Dec. 18, 2020 according to one website, saving millions of lives. Not like Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who sent sick patients back to nursing homes to infect the rest of the population, causing hundreds of deaths in New York state.

And then Uncle Joe Biden gets elected and claims credit for Warp Speed yet fumbles on getting children under 5 vaccinated. But the media give Big Joe a pass on everything from groping women in the halls of Congress to Hunter making millions using the Biden name in China and Ukraine, his famous laptop under wraps during the election by the FBI, labeled Russian collusion just like Trump.

Then you go on saying our economy was destroyed and we lost world respect, you bet and it was your man Sleepy Joe who is to blame, from rising interest rates to 13 soldiers killed. Biden is a Joke, and Kamala Harris a close second.

Our border is out of control, millions of people entering into our country by force will only add water to the economic gas tank of our country and the taxpayers will eventually get the bill, and you will see the results shortly when these people break the bank by overtaxing our health and welfare system, which is why they are coming to the land of the free, where in Bidenland everything is free, unless your are a hardworking taxpayer.

Ned, you go ahead and hitch your wagon to Biden and his great economic plan that has everyone paying more at the grocery store and gas station.

If you dislike Trump like you say and have manufactured a special dislike for him and his supporters, then like the old saying if you walk like a duck, quack like a duck then you must be a duck metaphorically. Ned, just admit it — you hate Trump.

Mission

Trump

bashed

Will the Republican Party finally repudiate a former president found guilty in a civil case of sexual abuse and defamation by a Manhattan jury of his peers? Or is the party going to wait for criminal indictments of Donald Trump in Georgia and by a special counsel, Jack Smith, before it decides that our country deserves better?

Does the Republican Party really want to renominate a former president who refused to accept the results of the last election and did not participate in a peaceful transfer of power and was found liable for sexual assault?

We’ve been down this road and it was disastrous! Tragically, that choice coarsened our public discourse, our politics and the way we view one another.

Supporting Trump requires deep moral decay and aberration in the very soul of the supporter. It is not an ordinary political relationship with a politician. The Republican Party is the greatest threat to our republic.

One thing is crystal clear: There is a confirmed sexual predator on the loose and he is the Republican front-runner for president.

Our democracy deserves better!
