Piano, horse-drawn carriage among items up for public auction by Hidalgo County

Looking for a good deal on a gold chain, a baby grand piano, a popcorn maker, or even a horse-drawn carriage? Hidalgo County may have what you’re looking for at its upcoming public auction.

The county is auctioning several items at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, at Bond & Bond Auctioneers located at 2101 Interstate 69C in Edinburg. Bond & Bond is running the auction which will be open to the general public.

Items up for auction can be viewed in person at the same location from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20.

“All items will be sold ‘As Is-Where Is’ to the highest bidder,” the county said in a news release Wednesday, further noting that “all funds must be verified before general merchandise, jewelry, etc. will be released and buyers must present a paid invoice prior to removal of any item.”
