Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) celebrated its 17th anniversary of 100th Days of School Wednesday morning as students interacted and spoke with U.S. Border Patrol agents, Brownsville Police Department officers, Brownsville firefighters and other local professionals on school grounds.
This was IWA’s last celebration of the event, as the school will close at the end of the academic year after 170 years of providing Catholic education in Brownsville.
