The Point Isabel Independent School District is considering going into a four-day school week for the 2023-2024 academic school year and will hold a meeting to discuss this with parents.

A Coffee with the Superintendent event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Central Office and parents are invited to stop by at any time to receive information regarding the four day school week.

If the Point Isabel ISD decides to go this route, it will be at least the second public school district in the Rio Grande Valley to do so.

The Santa Rosa Independent School District changed to a four-day school week during the 2022-2023 school year.
