3 charged, as many wanted in downtown McAllen shooting

McAllen police have charged three people who they believe were involved in the shooting that occurred outside the No Manches Wuey bar on Sunday. They’re also seeking three others, according to a news release.

Bryan Vasquez, 23, and Humberto Ojeda Jr., 22, have been charged with criminal attempt murder and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Hugo Ivan Ojeda, 20, has been charged with failure to report a felony which is a class A misdemeanor.

Police have yet to identify the victim but say he is a 22-year-old male from Donna.

McAllen police is also asking the public for assistance in locating three other individuals they believe were involved in the shooting.

Alejandro Gomez, 18, is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing at about 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Naila Reyes, 28, is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 165 pounds and has black hair with brown eyes.

Lastly, Viviana Gomez, 22, is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has brown hair with brown eyes.

All three have a last known address in Donna.

Hugo Ojeda posted bail the following day of his arrest on a $3,000 bond.

Humberto Ojeda and Vasquez remain jailed on $225,000 in bonds.
