McAllen police searching for Mission man in deadly conduct case

McAllen police are asking the public for help in locating a Mission man who had several warrants issued for deadly conduct, according to a news release issued Monday.

Pedro Ortiz IV, 21, was issued multiple warrants of arrests for deadly conduct, a Class “A” misdemeanor.

Police did not give details about his alleged conduct, only saying he displayed a firearm during a disturbance in the 2200 block of S. 10th Street about 2:48 p.m. Friday.

Anyone with information on Ortiz’s whereabouts or the crime is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-8477 or submit an anonymous tip through the smart-phone app “P3 Tips.”

Tipsters with information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
