Harlingen police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man found with multiple stab wounds early Saturday morning.
Police identified the deceased as Jonathan Erevia in a news release Saturday.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Findley Street about 4 a.m. in reference to a disturbance, the release said.
When police arrived at the location, they found Erevia lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds.
The release said emergency services were called for Erevia and he was transported to a local hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
The Harlingen Major Crimes Unit is investigating the case, the release said.
