HARLINGEN — The Port of Harlingen will celebrate its 70th year with a reception at port offices Thursday.
The event, which begins at 6 p.m., is free and open to the public.
The port offices are located at 24633 E. Port Road.
Port officials say visitors can park along the shoulder of Port Road and in the RGV Sugar Growers parking lot. A shuttle service along the road will be provided for both pick-ups and drop-offs.
