A series of free health screenings that began in June will continue Saturday morning.
As part of South Texas Health System’s Healthy Summer Screening Series, free health screenings will be available at South Texas Health System ER McColl, located at 4702 S. McColl Road in McAllen, from 8 to 11 a.m.
The health screenings will include BMI screenings, glucose and blood pressure checks.
Attendees will also be able to speak with staff about additional screening options such as cash pricing on lab and radiology services within their ER locations, according to a social media post about the health screenings.
In addition to Saturday’s event, STHS will again offer health screenings on July 23 at the South Texas Health System ER Weslaco, located at 330 W. Expressway 83.
The hospital says live music, free snacks and beverages will be provided.
