The McAllen Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a man wanted for assaulting a woman.
The McAllen Municipal Court recently issued arrest warrants for 31-year-old Ricardo Pichardo. He is wanted for assault, a Class “A” Misdemeanor, and assault (impeding airway), a third-degree felony.
“On May 17, 2022 at approximately 8:29 pm, the reporting party reported to police officers a male assaulted her,” a news release from police said Friday. “The male is known to the victim.”
Police, however, did not disclose the nature of the relationship between Pichardo and his alleged victim.
He is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
