Beginning Monday the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center will be allowing visitations via video, the sheriff’s office said Friday on Facebook.

Inmates that are on the visitation list will be allowed two video visits per week, and will not replace in-person visits.

Visitors will be denied access to the jail both in-person and via video, if they break any of the following rules:

>> Any visitor that has a scheduled video visit must be fully dressed.

>> No revealing articles of clothing will be allowed.

>> No indecent exposure of any kind.

>> No sexually related content will be allowed.

>> Only the persons on the inmates approved visitors lists will be allowed to visit via video.

>> Only the approved visitor that is scheduled to visit an inmate can be on the video visit call.

>> Any other individual that enters a video visit will not be permitted.

>> There will be no alcohol beverages, weapons, gang affiliated items/signs and/or narcotics during video visit to include the background of visit.
