The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a dead body found in a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Edinburg.
Sheriff J.E. “Eddie” Guerra said on Twitter that deputies responded to the corner of Farm-to-Market Road 1925 and Las Canas Road in rural Edinburg for a report of a dead body at about 2:48 p.m. Wednesday.
“The body is of an adult male and currently we believe he’s the victim of foul play,” Guerra said.
The Major Crimes Unit is on scene.
No other information was immediately available.
