Harlingen Water Works System asks the communities of Harlingen, Palm Valley, Primera, and Combes to reduce water usage tonight as much as possible as electric companies work to restore power.
HWWS water plants are running on generator after having lost power early this morning due to the freezing temperatures that have affected so many in the region.
The utility company says it greatly appreciates the help.
