RAYMONDVILLE — Willacy County is turning its Community Safe Room into a “warming center.”
Officials will open the safe room at 10804 Bus. 77 in Raymondville from 6 p.m. Sunday through 2 p.m. Tuesday, Frank Torres, the county’s emergency management coordinator, stated Friday.
Torres is requesting residents bring their medications they need.
Officials will require residents follow federal guidelines aimed at the curbing the spread of the coronavirus, he said.
