PHARR — Ground was broken Tuesday in an effort to strengthen the bond and expand commerce between the international communities of Pharr and Reynosa.

Local, state and federal representatives from both sides of the Rio Grande gathered at the Pharr International Bridge for a binational forum and a show of prosperity.
