The second largest Mega Millions jackpot could be won on what many consider an unlucky day, Friday the 13th.
But it could be a lucky day for someone who could win the estimated jackpot of $1.35 billion.
No tickets matched all numbers in last night’s drawing. The numbers are 7,13,14,15, 18 and Mega Ball 9.
The cash value of Friday night’s drawing will be $707.9 million; enough to make it a special day.
Mega Millions officials said six previous jackpots have been won on Friday the 13th.
Thirteen winning tickets worth the standard $1 million matched five of the numbers drawn; they were sold in California, Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts (two), Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio (two), Oregon, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, Mega Millions officials report.
Across the country, 215 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the game’s third-tier prize. Forty-one of those tickets are worth $30,000 each, because they also included the optional Megaplier. The other 174 third-tier winning tickets are worth $10,000 each.
