As construction continues on the Pharr Interchange, the Texas Department of Transportation said Tuesday that the Sioux Road underpass at I-69C will be temporarily closed nightly this week for construction activities.
The closures begin Tuesday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
“Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists,” TxDOT said.
The work depends on the weather.
“Drivers are reminded to stay alert and slow down in roadwork zones, to be aware of lane closures and alternative routes, and to follow all traffic control updates,” TxDoT said.
