Effective this morning, Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr., has ordered the following County beach access areas to open:
>> Boca Chica Beach;
>> County Beach Access No.3;
>> County Beach Access No.4;
>> County Beach Access No. 5/E.K. Atwood Park;
>> County Beach Access No. 6.
These County beach access areas were temporarily closed from Friday through early this morning to vehicular traffic due to the high tides which make for undrivable conditions.
County officials continue to ask that all individuals be cautious when visiting our beaches and heed the advice of lifeguards as well as the Flag Advisory System signage at all times.
