Cold front to push through the Rio Grande Valley this morning

Rain is in the forecast today, as a cold front will push through the Rio Grande Valley bringing rain with it.

According to the National Weather Service in Brownsville/Rio Grande Valley, the temperatures will steadily drop throughout the day with skies remaining mostly cloudy.

There’s a 20% chance of showers in the Upper Valley and a 30% chance of showers in the Lower Valley.

The temperatures will remain in the 60s throughout the afternoon with wind gusts up to 32mph in some locations.

Tonight’s overnight lows will be in the upper 50s.
