HARLINGEN — Interstate 2 on the city’s west side is seeing night-time lane closures which began Wednesday night and will continue each night through at least next Thursday, TxDOT officials say.
Contractor Texas SAI will be performing the scheduled milling and overlay of the roadway as part of normal maintenance, a TxDOT spokesperson said.
The work will occur on the westbound lanes and entail freeway and ramp closures.
The traffic disruption means:
• I-69 southbound connector will be closed.
• I-69 northbound connector will be closed.
• On-Ramp after Dixieland Road will be closed.
• Off-Ramp before Lewis Lane will be closed.
