BROWNSVILLE— The men accused of murdering Lesley Maurice Hunter, have their bond set at $1 million, according to a press release by the Cameron County District Attorney’s office.
Angel Pizano and Eduardo Aceves appeared before the Cameron County Magistrate court on Tuesday morning for their first appearance.
Both of their bonds were set at $1 million dollars and they were ordered to have no contact with Hunter’s family.
The press release also stated if released on bond both Pizano and Aceves may not possess a firearm or knives and must submit to GPS monitoring.
Juan Zapata, the third suspect, will appear before the Magistrate Court on Wednesday because his attorney was not available on Tuesday.
Police found Hunter bleeding on the side of the road Oct. 17 at the 3200 block of N. 77 Sunshine Strip. He died on Monday morning.
According to the press release, Pizano, Aceves and Zapata face a sentence of life if convicted.
