HARLINGEN — A local group of women looking to engage and network is looking for new members.
Christina Rodriguez, leader of FemCity Harlingen, part of a global organization, is looking for women in the area who would like to join. The Harlingen chapter launched in February 2018.
Each month, FemCity hosts local business programs for diverse groups of women and entrepreneurs.
“If you are looking to make strategic connections to strengthen your business and social circles, FemCity is a good choice. At each workshop, our members are strongly encouraged not only to pitch their ‘brand’ but to give a gratitude ‘shout out’ to another woman who has made an impact in their life or business,” Rodriguez said.
The group also hosts weekly online classes, monthly masterclasses and online group coaching sessions.
“These are designed around current business trends featuring a panel of successful entrepreneurs and experts providing education, advice, and inspiration for our members,” she said.
FemCity Harlingen’s next business program will be Thursday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. through an online Zoom meeting.
Women interested are invited to attend the workshop as a first-time guest.
