Temporary ‘no visitation’ policy at Harlingen Medical Center

HARLINGEN – Harlingen Medical Center has implemented a temporary “no visitation” policy until further notice as part of the hospital’s efforts to keep patients, visitors and staff safe and to lower the risk of COVID-19 incidents.

As part of the temporary restrictions, visitors are not allowed in inpatient areas, except for certain situations and with proper authorization from the hospital.

Also, visitors must not have symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath and must be prepared to answer screening questions.

Visitors must enter through limited designated entrances and check with the hospital’s security for screening.
