LETTERS: Who to blame

Today, I am responding to N. Rodriguez letter. She complains about all those illegal drugs and illegal aliens living in the U.S.

I don’t like it also. There is a high cost in the “cause and affect” of both issues but here are the facts.

There is not a single case in the U.S. where a citizen has been forced to snort cocaine. All U.S. citizens by their own volition inhale this stuff for the high it gives them. Almost the same goes for marijuana and other illegal drugs. All Americans who are distributors of the stuff do for profit. The participants who are from other countries just make their share of the profits.

In Canada, Mexico and 13 states, marijuana is a recreation drug. In Texas, our stupid children, teenagers, and adults are arrested and made an example of because they contribute to the

job creation via incarceration, police, security, buildings, judges etc…etc…etc…It’s a business.

As for the illegals in the U.S., I can say that problem is caused by the rich like our president who hires them by the dozens. Today, there are many of them who have file asylum and other petitions to remain in the U.S. and claimed they worked from the president.

Every port of entry every day catch dozens of people who live all over the America and a lot of them are U.S. citizens. They go over there and get the illegal drugs.

Why don’t you look into all those facts?

It reminds me of the adage that when you point at someone the three other fingers point back at you while the other one (thumb) plays dumb and doesn’t know who to blame.
