Drivers who use Spur 54 near Sam’s Club and Bass Pro Shops will be detoured starting today.
The Texas Department of Transportation will close the segment between both intersections of Spur 54 and Bass Pro Drive in order to complete irrigation work.
The intersections will remain open for drivers to turn on to Bass Pro Drive or toward Sam’s Club. Drivers wanting to continue on Spur 54 west or east will have to use the detour around Bass Pro Drive to get back on Spur 54.
TxDOT anticipates the closure will last two to four days.
