HARLINGEN — Marine Military Academy will hold its 53rd Annual Commencement Ceremony Saturday at 11 a.m. in Colonel Philip J. Yeckel Memorial Hall.
Jason Hiller, a member of the Class of 2006, will be the guest speaker.
Before commencement, the MMA Corps of Cadets will hold the Class of 2019 Graduation Parade at 9 a.m. on the MMA Parade Ground, where Hiller will be the guest reviewing officer.
During the parade, outstanding MMA cadets will be presented with military awards from local and national military organizations. In case of inclement weather, the awards will be moved to Yeckel Memorial Hall.
Class of 2019 valedictorian and salutatorian will also address their fellow cadets before the diplomas are awarded.
Parents and family members from across the country and around the world will be present for this event.
