I read with interest the VMS Editorial “Open Mind” and a letter from Mr. G. Barrientes published in the April 23 edition.
To answer Mr. Barrientes’ question Congress especially the “Three Blind Mice” that represent the RGV represent illegals to the tune of $37 million for housing for illegals.
This money could have been spent on aiding our homeless veterans.
The VMS calling for an “Open Mind” is a joke and clearly shows its liberal bias.
I want an open mind when I ask for my free housing, food stamps, medical care and welfare after paying taxes for over 50 years.
