Mr. Santiago Perez in his letter published Aug. 1, has asked for a sincere answer to his questions. I’m sure that there are those who would welcome the chance to reply if the context of the questions were clear.
To what was President Trump referring when he made the statement that what was being seen or read was not a reality?
That is information necessary for an informed answer. However, to his credit, Mr. Perez does make it clear that he does not believe that President Trump is very well educated by suggesting that Trump slept through his classes.
My knowledge is inadequate to answer either of those questions, if they are both questions. However, as a former English teacher, I feel I would be remiss in not offering to help Mr. Perez with his sentences and punctuation in order to clarify his letters’ content and or intent.
If my credentials prove inadequate, there are those to whom I can direct his letters. Extensive writing with literary assistance is a tried and true way to give clarity to one’s thinking and expressions. Reading of materials such as the constitution and its construction may also be helpful in the formulation of ideas.
My wish for him is an educationally stimulating future.
Sincerely, Norma Christian, Raymondville
