Brownsville police say the teen who ran away from the Southwest Key Programs facility on Padre Island Highway over the weekend has been found.
The boy’s father confirmed to police that his son is on a bus headed back home to Honduras.
Police say the lookout for the teen has been cancelled.
The 15-year-old left the center on Saturday. A search of the area turned up nothing so authorities listed his name and description into the state and national database as a runaway.
