Police have identified the remains of a man who was found dead under the Arroyo Colorado overpass near Hugh Ramsey Park in Harlingen Sunday night.
Harlingen Police say two people walking their dog discovered the body of 35-year-old Jose Manuel Vuittonet around 7:30 p.m. under the bridge.
Investigators say it appears Vuittonet had been dead for several days. They says Vuittonet was last seen by a coworker Wednesday morning walking off the job near where his body was found. Witnesses told authorities it looked like he was in some kind of physical distress.
Friends on social media indicated he worked for a lawn service company.
Last week his wife posted a photo of Vuittonet on Facebook asking for help in finding her husband.
Authorities are waiting for autopsy results to find out what caused his death.
