Police: Suspect steals $3,250 in cell phones from AT&T store

Harlingen Police are looking for the suspect accused of stealing more than $3,000 worth of new cell phones last week.

Police say the man walked into the new AT&T Store at 1802 S. Business 77 on Wednesday May 16 at 1 p.m. They say minutes later he grabbed three cell phones valued at $3,250 and quickly walked out of the store.

From the store surveillance pictures the suspect is described as a thin man with dark hair and a light complexion. He has tattoos on his arms and neck. He was wearing a baseball cap, a maroon shirt and shorts.

If you were at the sandwich shop next door or maybe buying fried chicken across the street you may have seen him leave the AT&T store.
