Court Documents: San Benito man admits downloading child porn

A San Benito man who was arrested for possessing child pornography admitted to federal authorities he downloaded the photos.

According to the criminal complaint filed in federal court, Phillip Emmanuel Lopez, who was born in 1988, admitted to owning the three laptops and cell phone confiscated by Homeland Security investigators when he was arrested on Thursday.

They say he also admitted knowing the software he used would allow the downloaded files to be shared with others.
