HARLINGEN — A small craft advisory is in effect today until 2 p.m. for the Laguna Madre.
Conditions on the bay will be choppy with gusting winds ahead of a cold front which will enter the Rio Grande Valley late tonight or early tomorrow.
There is a moderate risk of rip currents on gulf-facing beaches today.
A cold front coming in from the north will create the possibility for thunderstorms as it passes through the area late today or early tomorrow.
Temperatures tomorrow will range from highs between 71 and 75 with lows in the 50s and 60s. Clear weather is forecast for the rest of the week after the front passes.
