HARLINGEN — Forecasters issued a fog alert through 10 a.m. this morning for Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy counties, along with most of Deep South Texas.
National Weather Service meteorologists in Brownsville say some areas of fog may be dense and could reduce visibility in some places to below one-half mile.
Forecasters say the fog should burn off by mid-morning today, but say motorists and others can expect the same conditions to exist early Saturday morning.
