Having earned a coveted spot on the All-American Dance Drill Team, four San Benito High School Belles proudly participated in the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City. A total of 21 Belles had been invited to participate!
The NYC-bound group includes, from left, Aisa Servantes; Kathline Gonzales, Belles Second Lieutenant; Julianna Leal; and Elizabeth Rosenbaum. The San Benito girls were among the 550 dancers from around the country that proudly comprise the Spirit of America Dance Stars, a performance group that has been in the parade for more than 25 years.
Each year, the legendary parade attracts more than 3.5 million spectators in New York City (NYC) and over 50 million television viewers nationwide. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade aired nationwide on NBC-TV, on Thursday, Nov. 23.
