Greyhound tickets to go one sale, students to be released early

The San Benito school district will begin selling tickets in the morning for Friday’s regional playoff game between the San Benito Greyhounds and San Antonio O’Connor. The game will be held at Buccaneer Stadium in Corpus Christi.

The district says all tickets will be general admission and cost $8 for adults and $4 for students. Those purchased at the gate will cost $9.

Here is the schedule for ticket sales:

Tuesday – Season ticket holders will be allowed to buy what they hold, plus 10 tickets.

Wednesday – The general public will be allowed to purchase 10 tickets per person.

Thursday – The general public will be allowed to purchase an unlimited number of tickets.

Friday – The general public will be allowed to purchase an unlimited number of tickets.

The ticket office will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Today Superintendent Nate Carman announced the district will have early release on Friday so students who wish to travel to Corpus Christi can attend the game. Elementary schools will be released at 12:10 p.m., middle schools will release students at 1:10 p.m. and the high school will end classes at 1:45 p.m.
