Local areas brace for wind, rain from Harvey

HARLINGEN — As the eye of Hurricane Harvey slides by about 90 miles east of South Padre Island this morning, local cities braced for the edge of the storm.

Rainfall totals should be one to three inches this morning in inland Cameron County, and two to four inches in Raymondville.

Both inland Cameron and Willacy counties remain under a Tropical Storm Watch.
