The Southern Exposures Youth Nature photo Contest sponsored by Quinta Mazatlan and the Valley Land Fund will end July 31. Participants ages 8 to 18 can enter their favorite nature photographs for a chance to win cash prizes.
The Southern Exposures Youth Nature photo Contest sponsored by Quinta Mazatlan and the Valley Land Fund will end July 31. Participants ages 8 to 18 can enter their favorite nature photographs for a chance to win cash prizes.
The winners will be announced at an award show Aug. 31 at Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen. All participants with receive a free T-shirt.
To help participants with their photography skills, Quinta Mazatlan offers photograph workshops on Saturdays. The nature site also hosts “Fun Photography Friday” from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays. Cameras will be available for participants to use during the workshops.
